She debuted in bollywood at the age of 24 opposite Hrithik roshand in the blockbuster film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. This was also the debut film of Hrithik roshan who went on to become one of the best actors of Modern indian cinema. The film was such a huge hit and gained such wide fan following that even today people gossip about the film and its music. Ameesha Patel’s second film was opposite Sunny deol in 2001 titled Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film was even a bigger hit than Kaho naa Pyar Hai. In fact Gadar is one of the highest grossing Bollywood films. After giving two back to back blockbusters Ameesha became so popular that for next few years she was the center of attraction for all news papers and TV channels. Sadly, after Gadar she struggled to give blockbuster. Ameesha patel worked in Tamil and Telugu films.
Ameesha was born on 9th June 1976 and she is 38 years old. Ameesha Patel height is 160 cm which is approx 5 feet 4 inch tall. Ameesha patel brother Ashmit patel is also an actor. A Businessman named Kunal was next boyfriend of Ameesha Patel but she broke with him too. She is currently single.
